Text on billboard: Abortion is my right. This time, we are voting to protect our rights.

The right to abortion and many other rights that we thought were a given here in Israel are now in danger of being taken from us. As an unholy alliance of conservative and extremist forces is growing stronger, energized by and following in the frightening footsteps of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision earlier this year. 

Now, just before Israel’s general elections on November 1st, when public officials are enabling the incitement against women and the LGBTQ community to run wild, It’s time to fight back:  

We’re going to put this sign up on major bus lines  in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. That way, every would-be politician will know that we won’t accept any assault on our rights.
